Student/Parent Cell Phone Messaging

Reported by lanna_himes@ipsd.org on 10/10/21

Parents, we are aware of the importance of staying in touch with your child. Cellphones have become a much needed asset for safety and supportive reasons. Since the onset of school, post pandemic, the students' interactions with their phones have become a distraction and interruption to their learning needs while at school.

To ensure that you are able to reach your student, please contact the office to relay a needed message that be of an urgent nature. The school number is 630-375-3100.

Secondly, the school district's cell phone policy for earbuds, head phones, and other devices are asked to be off and out of sight between the hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Failure to do so, may result in you picking up the phone, a detention, or a request to keep the device in your care.

However, we know that you, like us, want the best for your student. Please review this information to ensure the most successful year as they continue to SOAR as Falcons.
