BOOK CLUB!  

Book club is a relaxed atmosphere where all students read a book, and then we meet to discuss, chat, and play games.  Students meet after school once a month on Mondays, from 3:05-4:00.  A permission slip is required to attend.  Feel free to join at any time!

SUMMER READING PROGRAM
BECOME A V.I.P. IN THE LMC!
 
Who can participate?
Incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students
 
What do I have to do?
Read three books over the summer and fill out the Summer Reading form.
 
Where do I turn in the form?
It can be turned in to the Main Office over the summer.
OR
You can give it to your ELA teacher once school starts.
 
When is it due?
August 31, 2017
OR
If you want your locker assignment early, you can turn it in to the Main Office on or before August 14, 2017.
 
Why do I want to be a V.I.P.?
When you are an LMC V.I.P., you receive the following:
  • Personalized V.I.P. card
  • Early locker assignments
  • Free admission to the first dance
  • Ability to check out four books at a time instead of three
  • Fast track for books on hold

The LMC student hours are from 7:45 AM-3:15 PM.  
 
 
Students need a pass when they come to the LMC throughout the school day.
 
Students can check out 3 books at a time for up to 3 weeks.  Books can be renewed as long as they are not on hold for another person. 
 
Students are responsible for lost or damaged LMC books, as well as textbooks.
