Pick-up for Student Locker Contents & Drop-Off of School Items
Dear Fischer Middle School Parent/Guardian,
Families will be able to come to campus to pick-up belongings that were left at school at an assigned date and time according to the schedule below. This will also be the time to return district textbooks, LMC books, Chromebooks in need of repair, and other District 204 property. Working Chromebooks will not be collected from students who are returning next year. Any student leaving the district should return their Chromebook along with any other district property.
Staff members have cleaned out hallway lockers and physical education lockers and placed the contents in a labeled bag that will be brought to your car at the predetermined time listed below:
Weds, May 20th 8:00A.M.-11:00A.M. Student Last Names beginning with A-C
Weds, May 20th 12:00 P.M.-3:00P.M. Student Last Names beginning with D-I
Thurs., May 21st 8:00A.M.-11:00A.M. Student Last Names beginning with J-M
Thurs., May 21st 12:00P.M.-3:00P.M. Student Last Names beginning with N-Q
Fri., May 22nd 8:00P.M.-11:00A.M. Student Last Names beginning with R-S
Fri., May 22nd 12:00P.M.-3:00P.M. Student Last Names beginning with T-Z
Items not picked up by May 29 will be donated.
Our process for returning items to your child and accepting materials from your family is built on practicing social distancing and ensuring a controlled process for all. PLEASE read and follow the guidance below as it will make the process much smoother for everyone!!
1. Clearly identify the last name of your child/children on the passenger side window of
your vehicle—Large, Printed Letters that staff can easily read.
2. Dropping off textbooks, library books, classroom books, and music instruments:
>All items being returned are placed in a plastic bag that is not fully sealed.
>The trash bag should be placed in the vehicle in of one of the following places:
*PREFERRED LOCATION: Trunk or Back Hatch: if your vehicle allows for
the driver to open the trunk from inside the vehicle. After the driver
opens the vehicle from the inside, District 204 staff will remove the
*Passenger seat: The driver will be able to roll down the window and the
District 204 staff member will remove the plastic bag.
3. Picking up hallway and PE locker materials and music instruments:
>District 204 staff members will place the bag(s)/instrument into your vehicle. If
your vehicle’s trunk opens from the inside, District 204 staff would prefer to
place bag(s)/instrument in the trunk. If not, they will place the
bag(s)/instrument in the car using the window.
4. Picking up medicine:
>District 204 staff will exchange medicine with parents only. Please contact your
building principal by email to let them know that you are wanting your child’s
medicine. Parents will need to show ID when picking up medication. Any
medicine not picked up at this time, will be available when we return to school in
